DOS RÍOS (TWO RIVERS) - Betty Vásquez Rivera is a Honduran environmentalist, María Caal is a Mayan Q'eqchi' community leader and lives in Guatemala, without knowing each other, they are united by one clarity: the defense of the rivers in her territories.

TRAS LA VIDA (TOWARDS LIFE) - Ana Enamorado, a Guatemalan woman becomes an activist after her son goes missing while crossing the Mexico/US border. She moves to Mexico to track him and helps others in the same painful situation.

This screening is part of the CineNoche series presented in partnership with Cine Las Americas. This season’s monthly series, Mujeres en la Lucha, features documentaries spotlighting women's activism in Latin America.
