Our team members are required to wear gloves and masks for the duration of their shifts.
Temperature checks are performed on all team members when they arrive for work. Employees with temperatures above the CDC or state or local threshold will not be permitted to work.
Every day before starting their shift, we ask our team members if they have experienced symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive or presumed positive with COVID-19. If the answer is yes to either, they will not be permitted to return to work until they either receive a negative COVID-19 test or quarantine for 14 days.
Seats, armrests and tray tables are disinfected between each screening with electrostatic sanitizing sprayers that utilize EPA-registered hospital-grade disinfectants.
We recognize that cleaning and sanitizing is an ongoing process, and that a new level of attention is required to address these needs. We appoint a person on every shift to be solely responsible for all aspects of cleanliness in our building, including cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, auditoriums, and high touch surfaces.
Hand sanitizing stations are placed throughout the cinema, and sanitizer wipes are located at the entrance to every auditorium.
All self-serve stations have been eliminated to avoid cross contamination. Self-serve items have been replaced with individually sealed packets or containers, available upon request.
Protective shields have been installed at all points of sale and food pickup areas.
We have suspended all popcorn and drink refills to reduce contact points.
We encourage payments with credit cards, Violet Crown gift cards or contactless payment, like Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Our HVAC systems have been equipped with ionization air purifying systems that have been shown to inactivate pathogens.
The economizers in our HVAC systems have been adjusted to deliver increased fresh air rates into the auditoriums.
